Why Dr. Fenn
Here is what I see. These are your options.
Your first appointment takes a while, because I go through everything. Patients tell me afterwards that nobody had ever walked them through their own mouth before. Once you can see what is actually going on in there, we can build a plan around it.
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1996 and I have been on this stretch of the Danforth since 2002.
I will tell you the plain, honest, truth. Every time. If something needs doing, I will tell you what it is and why. If it can wait, I will tell you that too.
Services
Restorative
Fillings, tooth wear, fractures, crowns, bridges, dentures and root canals. We will show you what we see and tell you what is urgent and what can wait.
Implants
An implant replaces the root of a missing tooth, and the replacement tooth sits on top of it. Dr. Fenn places implants herself and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. It is not the only way to replace a tooth. Bridges and dentures still make sense for plenty of people, and we will go through what each option involves and what each one costs before you decide anything.
Invisalign
Clear aligners that straighten teeth without brackets, for adults and for kids. Milder cases often finish in around six months. More complex ones run a year or longer. People often come in asking about veneers, and Dr. Fenn will usually suggest straightening first, because you may already have good teeth underneath.
New Patients
What it Costs
If you have private insurance, we submit your claim electronically for you. You pay us at the appointment, and your insurer reimburses you.
We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and we bill CDCP directly so you are not chasing the paperwork afterwards. One thing worth knowing before you come in. The plan pays against a government fee schedule, and our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association fee guide, which is higher than the CDCP schedule. There is a difference in what you pay. Most dentists in Ontario work this way. We would rather you hear it now than at the desk afterwards.
We take cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard.
Languages in the Office
Between us the team speaks Italian, Farsi, Armenian, Russian, Arabic, Tigrinya and Portuguese. If it would help to have someone who speaks your language at the desk or in the chair, tell us when you book and we will sort it out.
